Paintings expresses my personal response to the world around me, Though primarily a painter, I use a variety of media including clay, bronze and glass. The ideas, perceptions and responses I wish to express dictate the choice of materials I select to work with.
I am inspired by the human form and the natural landscape and these influence the way I utilze line, colour and form. Drawing is an essential part of the way I think, work and create. Removed from the subject these drawings become the starting point from which my work evolves.
